In August 2019 Kelsey graduated from Okanagan Valley College of Massage Therapy - Canada’s first Nationally Accredited Massage Therapy program. Her education was rigorous and extremely hands on, crafting her into a well rounded professional with the most up to date training available.
Kelsey is passionate about improving the emotional and physical health of the residents of Barriere and neighbouring communities. She has a preferred area of practice in treating individuals with a stressful lifestyle, repetitive strain or overuse injuries, chronic pain, or any forearm and hand discomfort.
Her treatment style is highly client centered. Providing a safe space for working, and creating treatments per individual resulting in recovery within the shortest time frame possible, are her main focuses.
Every client receives specific testing to hone in on the root of their discomfort, soft tissue mobilization during treatments, and a well thought out plan for home care to aid in reaching their goal as quickly as possible.
Outside of providing a healing touch, Kelsey enjoys teaching clients about how their body works - sharing easy, yet effective, ways to improve their daily life. She is eager to normalize the process of healing.
Emma graduated from Okanagan Valley College of Massage Therapy in November 2020. During her time at OVCMT, Emma was able to work with a variety of conditions, gaining the knowledge to help facilitate her patients to achieve and maintain a pain-free lifestyle. Emma grew up in Barriere and is looking forward to working with the community and helping her patients achieve their healthcare goals.
